We’ve released two new enhancements designed to make your experience even smoother: a streamlined way to access onboarding resources and clearer guidance when managing permissions.

Overview

As an Authorized Support Contact (ASC), you play a key role in keeping your SAP Concur solutions running smoothly. Over the past several years, we’ve been focused on giving you better tools, clearer resources, and improved ways to collaborate with Support.

Last year, we introduced the Onboarding to Support Community page and the Enhancing Security in your SAP Concur Environment training. Now we’re continuing that momentum with two more updates designed specifically with you in mind.

What Has Changed?

1. A New Onboarding to Support Tile in the Support Portal Training Area

You’ll now see a new tile called Onboarding to Support when you visit the Training area in the Support Portal. This tile takes you directly to the ASC onboarding resources within the SAP Concur Community.

This makes it easier for you to find the guidance you need whether you’re a new ASC or simply refreshing your knowledge.

2. New Educational Message When Assigning ASC Permissions

To help you maintain a secure and well‑managed environment, you’ll now see a helpful message when viewing or assigning the Authorized Support Contact permission:

“Authorized Support Contact permission grants users access to sensitive information. Limit this role to two – five users only.”

Here’s what you can expect:

  • The message will appear every time, giving you quick, consistent guidance.
  • It serves as a reminder to keep ASC assignments within the recommended range, helping you strengthen security and reduce over‑assignment of this highly sensitive role.

These updates are designed to:

  • Support you in your role by making key training easier to find.
  • Reinforce best practices around permission management.
  • Strengthen security and safeguard your organization’s data.

Timeline

As of January 2026, the new Onboarding to Support tile appears in the Support Portal and the ASC permission guidance message is live in Company Permissions.
