New Concur Travel - Guest Booking Tool update

Hi!

The newest version of the Guest Booking Tool feature was recently added to our site.  I like the new look and layout, however, we've been trying to test its capabilities and it looks like there's still some kinks that need to be worked out.  When you first click on "Book for a Guest", a new window pops up for you to create a Guest Profile, which is neat.

However, when you click 'Save and Book', an error message appears that says "Profile saved, but the redirect to the new guest's session failed.  Please reload and try again."

When you go into Travel Arranger View, you can see the new guest profile was created, but it won't let you do anything.  Clicking on the name just brings up their list of preferences, which you cannot edit because that throws another error message.

The question is, how many times should we attempt to reload and try again before switching back to Legacy for now?  Also, how long will we still be able to use Legacy?  Lastly, once a guest profile has been created, say they need to travel again next month, are we able to reuse the guest profile or will we need to setup a new one each time?

Thanks,

Hi @kvavra

Topic: New Concur Travel - Guest Booking Tool update

Please check the below. Hope this helps.

-----

1. Save and Book Error: The guest profile is saved, but the booking-session redirect fails - repeated retries are unlikely to help. Escalate to SAP Concur Support with the error screenshot and timestamp.

2. Legacy Guest Booking: If Legacy remains enabled for your company, its retirement date must be confirmed with SAP Concur.
3. Guest Profile Reuse: Existing guest profiles can be reused for future trips while the profile and sponsorship remain active. The default expiration is six months, but it is configurable.

SAP has not provided a universal Legacy retirement date.

Thanks & Regards
