2 factor authentication for Approving Managers

If the manager receives an email to approve an expense report and clicks on the link to approve via email, does it require the Manager to use 2 factor authentication to approve that expense report?

@kchin Hello!

If the approver is  already logged in and has previously authenticated, and then clicks the URL link in the email notification, they should be redirected into the Approval Page.  If not logged in, the approver will need to re-authenticate and needs log back in again. You will need to authenticate every time you sign in. In the event your session timed out, you would need to input your username and password again and will need to provide your authentication code.If have more questions, you can check this Q&A.

Ok so then they have to authenticate no matter what.  Another question, Can you have 2 authenticators?  For example my CEO has his admin do his expenses but he does go in to approve his direct reports expenses.  is there a way to have 2 people have the authentication code?

@kchin Thanks for posting in the SAP Concur Community. 2FA is a layered approach to securing your users accounts and the data they contain. Each login account has a unique QR code and Secret Key. It is not recommended that users share an account.
