Important Update:
We would like to inform you that the legacy Travel Allowance (TA) functionality will be retired effective April 15, 2027. In preparation for this, we encourage your organization to transition all legacy configurations to the enhanced Travel Allowance Service.
This upgrade offers several key benefits:
- Centrally updating statutory rate bundles for 14 supported countries (eliminate the need to raise a ticket when a rate change is required)
- A more intuitive and friendly user interface
- Seamless integrations into other Concur and SAP modules (separate project)
- Additional flexibility in configurations, providing greater scalability for innovation

How Does This Relate to MRA?
We are pleased to announce that, as of June 24, 2025, the scope of Assisted Upgrade services is now included for customers subscribed to Managed Rate Administration (MRA).
This means that, if your organization prefers not to perform the upgrade independently, you are no longer required to purchase a separate Assisted Upgrade project—provided the request falls within the standard scope. Your MRA team will facilitate these upgrades.
Please note that Custom Upgrades remain out of scope and must still be purchased separately.
Required Actions:
We kindly ask that you:
- Review all legacy Travel Allowance configurations currently in use within your organization.
- Select your preferred upgrade option(s). Please note that only one Assisted Upgrade will be processed at a time per client, so upgrade requests will be handled sequentially.
- Log a support case for each country you wish to upgrade. Based on the information provided in the case, your assigned MRA analyst will evaluate the request and advise in advance if a Custom Upgrade will be required to proceed.
We recommend prioritizing countries supported by automated statutory rate updates, which currently include:
Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russian Federation, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, and the United States.
