Travel Allowance Upgrade for Concur Expense |
All customers are now required to start evaluating your legacy Travel Allowance configurations and upgrade to the new Travel Allowance Service to benefit from our automatically updated rate bundles and more.
SAP Concur aims to provide our customers with simple, sustainable, user-friendly solutions for their expense and travel ecosystem needs. Our Travel Allowance feature has provided customers with the ability to support managing reimbursements to their travelers for expenses related to their travel allowances (also known as per diems).
What’s new?
SAP Concur has released an upgraded Travel Allowance Service as the go-forward solution, and all configurations must be upgraded by April 15, 2027.
Upgrades are now available for all legacy configurations.
What’s in it for you?
The upgraded Travel Allowance Service offers enhancements, including:
- Centrally updating statutory rate bundles for 14 supported countries (eliminating the need to raise a ticket when supported statutory rates change)
- A more intuitive and user-friendly user interface (UI)
- Seamless integrations into other SAP Concur and SAP modules
- More flexibility in configurations, providing greater scalability for innovation
What action do you need to take?
To ensure you have the service that best fits your needs, please review your upgrade options:
Option 1) Self-Service Upgrade: Find all steps in our OnDemand video, Simplifying Travel Allowance Upgrades, and access resources on the Travel Allowance Upgrade Toolkit. The toolkit now includes a new self-service video that demonstrates how simple and beneficial it is to complete a self-service upgrade.
Option 2) Assisted or Custom Upgrade: Contract directly with SAP Concur to upgrade by speaking with your SAP Concur account team or contract with a valued Service Partner. Note that the scope of an Assisted Upgrade is included if you subscribe to Managed Rate Administration (MRA).
Note: Please do not contact SAP Concur Support for assistance with Travel Allowance upgrades. Support is not equipped to assist with these requests. Use the self-service resources or connect with your account team or Service Partner as outlined above.
