Travel Allowance Upgrade for Concur Expense |
We are recommending you evaluate upgrading to the new Travel Allowance Service to benefit from our automatically updated rate bundles and more.
SAP Concur aims to provide our customers with simple, sustainable, user-friendly solutions for their expense and travel ecosystem needs. Our travel allowance feature has provided customers with the ability to support managing reimbursements to their travelers for expenses related to their travel allowances (also known as per diems).
What’s new?
SAP Concur has released an upgraded Travel Allowance Service as the go-forward solution, and we strongly recommend that you start evaluating the benefits of upgrading.
Upgrades are now available for the following statutory configurations when following the default best practice setup:
Czech
Danish
Finnish
German
Norwegian
Polish
Russian
Slovakian*
Spanish
United States GSA
*Best practice Slovakian generic configurations are now available to move to the Slovakian statutory configuration in Travel Allowance Service.
Information on upgrading other statutory and custom configurations not listed above will be shared in the future. No other configurations should be upgraded now, and customers can continue to use the setup you have in place today.
What’s in it for you?
The upgraded Travel Allowance Service offers enhancements including:
- Centrally updating statutory rate bundles (eliminating the need to raise a ticket when supported statutory rates change)
- A more intuitive and user-friendly user interface (UI)
- Seamless integrations into other Concur and SAP modules
- More flexibility in configurations, providing greater scalability for innovation
What action do I need to take?
To ensure you have the service that best fits your needs, please review your upgrade options:
Option 1) Self-service upgrade: Find all steps in our OnDemand video, Upgrading to Travel Allowance Service, and access resources on the Travel Allowance Upgrade Toolkit.
Option 2) Assisted Upgrade: Contract directly with SAP Concur to upgrade using the best practice setup by speaking with your SAP Concur account team or contract with a valued Service Partner.
