Updating Travel Approver - Delegate

Hello. It is my understanding that team members can set up delegates for travel approval requests and this can be done within the "other settings" -> Travel Vacation Reassignment. Can I set this up as an administrator for our company? We have run into situations where a team member has already gone on leave and has not made this change within their profile, therefore approval requests are sitting in a queue and not being managed by anyone. We would like to understand if there is a way to set up a delegate approver for travel, similar to how we can set up delegates on the Concur Expense side. If not, is there a workaround?

Hi there how can i activate the travel vacation reassignment access to my colleagues to approve active travel request as an admin do i need to go somewhere and activate it company wide

A common workaround is to temporarily reassign approval responsibility via a custom workflow rule (if your setup allows for it), or to have someone from IT/admin impersonate the user (if your organization supports that) to set the delegate. It’s not ideal, but it can help avoid stuck requests.
