Cutstomer:Job - GL/Item Codes

Hello,

My firm is in the process of onboarding Concur. My inquiry is two-fold. I think the larger question is: Our Customer:Job coding is a little confusing, and we would love to have a "vanity list" that our employees can choose from that correlates to the Customer: Job codes in Quickbooks. Is there a way to do this with QB Desktop?

Secondly, the Customer: Job codes were assigned a "GL / Item Code" we were told these come from QB, but I cannot find anywhere in QB that information is or that matches what was provided in Concur. Does anyone have any idea where this information comes from or if it is provided by QB or Concur? I don't want to change it and mess something up with the integration or with QB.

@CWMerit I took a look at your site and I do see it is connected to QB, but from what I see only Department and Is Billable are showing the connection. However, the Department list has no items. 

I'm fairly certain that the Customer: Job Codes came from QB, unless someone created this list directly in SAP Concur by importing a list, which I don't think happened. 

I did see a name listed as the QuickBooks admin for your company. Have you spoken with them? I won't give the full name here, but their initials are AK. I'm sure you can track them down. 🙂

We have been tinkering with a few things trying out. I just re-linked the Customer:Job codes.  We created the code you see under "List Item" in Quickbooks (and this is what should be linked to QB) but no one can seem to tell us where the GL/Item code (highlighted) comes from. 

Question 1) Is there a way to make a "vanity list" appear in concur for the code you see appear under "List Item"?
Question 2) Where does this GL / Item code come from? GL Codes in QB seem to point to the Chart of Accounts, but that is not this. No one can seem to tell me where this code was generated - I tend to think Concur generated it?
