Question on List Aggregation in IBM Cognos

Hi Team,

I would like to ask whether it is possible to create a list aggregation in IBM Cognos.

Currently, I have a list report with three columns: Employee Name, Assigned Roles, and Reporting Groups. For each employee, there can be multiple reporting groups, which are currently displayed as multiple rows.

I would like to know if it is possible to aggregate the reporting groups into a single line per employee, for example:

Employee Group 1, Employee Group 2, Employee Group 3, …

Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Please follow below navigations: 

Step 1: Create or Open Your List Report

1. Open Report Studio
2. Create a List report (or open your existing one)
3. Add these fields to the list:

• Employee Name
• Assigned Roles
• Reporting Group

You will see multiple rows per employee.

Step 2: Group by Employee

1. Click Employee Name in the list
2. From the toolbar, click Group/Ungroup
3. Employee Name is now grouped
