Cost Centre Report

We are in the process of changing cost centres and updating/moving people onto new cost centres.

Rather than going through and checking each account manually, I was wondering if it is possible to pull a report out of the system that will allow us to see who is in which cost centre and then we can see who is left to move over.

Thanks,

hello @weacar1

We use the following report "Employee Details".

The Cost Center is in the field "Org Unit 5 - Name" and "Org Unit 5 - Code"

Thanks @cjmarimo

How do I get to that area of concur?

Hello @weacar1

You must have permissions to view the reports. Once they are assigned to you, it takes 24 hours for them to become effective.

Permissions can be given by the company's Concur administrator.

To add permissions: Go to Administration-> Company Admin->User Permissions->Reporting

Once the permissions are effective, to access the reports:
Go to Administration->Reporting->Analysis

And the Cognos reporting tool will open.

Goto Team content->Analysis - Standard Reports->Administration-> REPORT Employee Details

Thank you, I have the report but cannot seem to export it.

How do we alter those permissions?

@weacar1 a couple of things:

1. You need to make a copy of the report and paste that copy in your My Content folder. We don't recommend running the report from the Standard Reports folder.

2. I looked at your Reporting permissions and I don't see any role assigned to you. My guess is you can access Cognos because you are set as an Expense Approver. This gives you access to Cognos, but in a read-only capacity and it only allows you to see those for whom you are the BI Manager.

You will at least need the Cognos Consumer role to run the report to see a comprehensive list of employees.

Thank you,
Kevin
