There is about as much blank space horizontally as there is displayed data.

When selecting the 'View Detail' option, instead of expanding the viewable window to fit the additional data, a very simple code change, the user has to now scroll left and right to find the additional fields. There is no technical reason for this omission. It was either a bizarre 'Design' choice, in which case you should fire your designer, or it was an oversight that testing should have caught, in which case you should fire your testing manager. 

Whatever the case, this is unacceptable in a business data centric app. Do better.
