Updates to the Card Verification Value management process for Corporate Ghost Cards
Concur Travel will support the end-user booking experience by allowing CVV capture when Corporate Ghost Cards are used to book instant purchase fares in the new Concur Travel. This modification was released with the April 2025 release of Concur Travel. These operating procedures may change in the future based on changes to the regulatory/compliance landscape.
All currently supported issuers’ cards will continue to be supported by Concur Travel.
To proceed with the payment of all instant-purchase air fares, our partner Travelfusion and other Air Connector suppliers, such as Ryanair, require a CVV (Card Verification Value). Unlike Corporate Ghost Cards used for GDS/TMC payments (which do not require a CVV at this time), these booking channels will require a user to enter a CVV at the time of booking.
Customers will be expected to manage card data in accordance with their own card program requirements and contracts.
What action should I take?
No action will be required on this topic. Customers will continue to have control and responsibility over payment methods for booking within Concur Travel.
