We had a user having issues logging in with either Chrome or Edge and it would not accept the 6 digit code.

Turns out the user turned off time sync and the machine was around 10 minutes fast.

Check your local machine settings to see if date or time is out of sync.

Click start

search Date

click the option for date time settings and either manually sync or set to automatically sync

After that, user was able to successfully login using Chrome with the add on extension.

Hope this helps some struggling with browser based 2FA.
