Air Tag at Fusion

Hi - a stupid question here.  I attended Fusion and got an Air Tag for going through the Experience Center but failed to read how to activate it.  Anyone have suggestions?

Not just you 😅 They provided no instructions. I ended up googling the brand name I found on the back of the actual tag. To save you time (if you have an iPhone like me), open your "Find My" app>Add>Other Item> then it will detect the tag if you're close to it. I am not sure how to do it for non iPhone but I'm sure there's an app similar for Samsung devices.

Do you have an Android? I wonder if they're only compatible with iOS because I have the same question.

The gentleman that was handing them out showed me if you tap them to your phone, it will link to some of the presentations. After that, he told me I would have to download the app FindHub to activate it.  I have not tried to do so yet though.

I have a couple. You’ll need to pair it, but it should recognize it as you bring it close to your phone. I’m attaching a video that should help.

I had to google the tag name (MiLi MiTag) to get instructions.  For iPhone you have to add it in the Find My app, under Items.  Easy peasy!

Thanks, Torie! I found the Amazon listing, which has a review with a picture of part of the instructions. They say to press the button six times to reset the device. You're supposed to hear a long beep, but I couldn't get that to work, either. I've also tried removing and replacing the battery. So far, I've been unable to pair it with my Pixel.

Later when I went through the booth them they'd printed off an instruction sheet. I quickly took a pic of it as there were like a dozen people pouring over it and I didn't want to stand there adding to it. I think they got the feedback. 🙂
