Finland is proposing to change the Standard VAT rate percentage from 24% to 25.5% effective September 01, 2024.

“The Government has put forth a proposal to raise the general VAT rate from 24% to 25.5%. The change is likely to come into force 1 September 2024.
The new percentage will be applied on the goods and services that are subject to the 24-percent VAT rate today.”
Please take into consideration that this change has not yet been fully approved by the Finnish government.
