Anyone else receive such a notice from their TMC and has Concur come up with a solution or way to handle this?
Last week, the Lufthansa Group (Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, SWISS and Brussels Airlines) announced on its agent portal its decision to remove Economy Light, Business Saver and Check & Go tariffs for travel from Germany from the GDSs, beginning Oct. 9, 2018 (ticket issue date). For companies who have EU Flex included in their contract, the Economy Light and Business Saver fares will remain available in the GDSs until March 31, 2019. All other corporate discounts are unaffected.
This isn’t the only distribution change launched by the LH Group recently. Earlier this year, they announced that Light and Classic economy fares for selected domestic and intra-European city pairs originating from Germany, Austria, Belgium and Switzerland were available via direct distribution and NDC booking channels at a price point of 20 euros cheaper per round trip than currently available in the GDS. (They also indicated that the scope of city pairs may change without notice.)
