Changing flights after confirmation

I booked a flight as a delegate, and the person traveling is now requesting a later flight. I didn't see any other choice but to the cancel the flight, but still see a ticket number. Is there any way to rebook the flight to a later departure time?

@lhorne11 I would just call the airline directly. Most still aren't charging change fees, so this will be the faster and most accurate way. Also, some airlines allow the traveler to do same day confirmed, where they pay a small fee, but get moved to a different flight. They would still need to call the airline to do this. I don't know if all airlines do this, but I do know Alaska Air does, so my guess is other major airlines have something similar.
