Southwest seat booking ignores tier status

I am A-List Preferred with SW.  Seat selection page shows a message "Your WN frequent traveler information and program status is applied to the seat map." and it shows the last 4 digits of my SW RR # but the only seats available for selection are the basic seats in the back.  Booking the same flights directly with Southwest, I am able to select seats in the front of the cabin and/or exit row.

@jasbro I found out there currently is a GDS limitation that is affecting this. Sabre should be releasing a fix later this month which when put into place, our next product release in February should get this cleared up. The other GDSs will follow, but we haven't seen a schedule for them yet. 

 

For now, I would see if your Travel Agency can help with seat selection. If you are required to book with Concur Travel, you might need to book the flight then select seat after booking. I would suggest calling your travel agency to see what they recommend.
