RULE all trips - notify Manager - NCT

In Concur Old legacy, at our company, we have the rule all trips-notify Manager active, so that the managers are informed whenever someone from their team books any trip (regardless if in or out of policy).

However, since the launch of NCT this rule sends out a message (hard coded one) to all the employees stating that their booking is out of policy, even when, in reality,  it is not, just because this rule is active.

Does anyone feels this message should be edited? Or maybe Concur should provide us another way of notifying the manager without it triggering an OoP message... in this case, all hotels, flights and car rentals are within policy, but the message "Out of Policy" is sent anyway, just because we want the manager to be informed of their team bookings.

Thanks

Vera Cardoso

@veracardoso I'm asking internally about this. Do you have an example of the message/email that managers are now receiving? The one stating the booking is out of policy.

If you could take a screenshot and post it in this thread, that would be great.

Thank you,

Hi Kevin, Here you have it....

It also shows  in other places:

The information provided by Concur Support is that this message was intentional and is hard coded with no intention to be changed...

Thanks

Have you gotten any update to this? I am being told the same thing from our TMC about it no being able to be changed. But this seems fully insane to say it's out of policy.

Thank you.

@knaimoli my personal opinion on this is that it shouldn't say something is out of policy if it isn't. When I asked internally, I was pretty much told this won't be changed and that it isn't a big deal because it doesn't affect anything. Not the best answer I've ever received.

Thank you,

We have "notify manager" set for a rule and were able to customize the verbiage that appears above the Trip Overview along with the options turned down. Do you have admin rights in Concur?
