Questions about Porter Airlines in Canada

Hi, I am curious about Porter Airlines and the relationship with SAP Concur.  A couple of questions as the experience with Porter has been problematic recently:

1) When booking on Porter, I often find that the mapping between Concur and the airline does not work correctly.   My frequent flier (VIP Porter) number does not show up properly on the Porter side which results in my flights not showing up in their app, not getting credit (points) for flights shown, etc.  Who is responsible for fixing this?

2) Porter does not honor the fare type purchased, e.g., if you book Freedom fare and try to make a same day change which is allowed with the fare type, they will now say "it's booked through a third party and call the third party to change"

3) If Porter does not honor the benefits of the fare type sold through Concur, why does Concur list these fares for sale?

4) This airline is not 'preferred' in Concur, how does an Airline become preferred, and would that solve the issues I have?

@TravelAlot I can provide a little bit of insight to your questions.

For this I would reach out to your company's travel agency and ask them if there is something they can see to cause the frequent flyer number to not show on your bookings.

2) Porter does not honor the fare type purchased, e.g., if you book Freedom fare and try to make a same day change which is allowed with the fare type, they will now say "it's booked through a third party and call the third party to change" I would double-check with your travel agency to see if the changes need to go through them since they ultimately fulfill the booking. They might confirm this or let you know if changes can be made directly with the airline.

3) If Porter does not honor the benefits of the fare type sold through Concur, why does Concur list these fares for sale?  SAP Concur shows fares that are published by the airline unless your company sets up a rule to not show certain fare types or certain airlines. Most likely, your company didn't put any restriction on Porter fare types.

4) This airline is not 'preferred' in Concur, how does an Airline become preferred, and would that solve the issues I have? Your company can set up certain vendors to be preferred. There is a setting with the SAP Concur tool for travel admins to do this.

I'm not sure which issue you are referring to in your last comment. Do you mean the not being able to make same day changes or that your frequent flyer number isn't being applied to your reservation?

Thank you,
Kevin
