New UI is TERRIBLE

How can I switch back to the old UI?  This change happened unexpectedly, and the changes are absolutely TERRIBLE.    I certainly will not use the program like this, and unfortunately it will result in higher booking costs to go thru an agent.  No more fares matrix - everything is so big a blind person could read it.  Not a fan.

Found the search matrix - ridiculous that it's hidden.  Plus, why are all the features to modify the search criteria hidden?   Why so many fares that all look the same?  Why do most of them have the same description with "baggage policy unknown?"

A slidebar for fuel emissions, but not travel times?  Really?

@ehoule I do know our Travel Dev team is working on the Matrix as we received feedback from our customers that they want it back.

We have received alot of bad feedback on our end too.  Hotels are not automatically sorted by distance to our locations, airline search is messy (if you book one carrier on the outbound, it automatically only shows that carrier for the return flights unless you automatically ask it no too.  Too many other things pointed out.

They put more time and effort into showing carbon footprint and hotel's eco-friendly scores than they did their search functionality.  I mean - really?  A sliding scale to sort that junk that we have no control over, but not a sliding scale for rates, distance, or airline times?  I've stopped using their system for booking my hotels and rental cars.  For flights, I use Expedia to search, then put the exact criteria into Concur as I have no other way to book airfare.  I;m not sure why the Concur folks are not chiming in on this.  It would be nice to know our concerns are heard and what they plan on doing to fix it.  Very disappointing,

@ehoule our Travel product team is listening to feedback and taking suggestions from people submitting their enhancement requests. In fact, they have already implemented several suggestions from our customers. 

 

I'm not on the product team, so I don't know how their dev team works and how they prioritize features and releases, but I know they are working hard. I'm fairly certain that a lot of the suggestions/changes people are recommending take a fair amount of time to program.

I am not a fan of the new look. Why move the preferred times into a window? No checkbox to also book car in addition to accommodation? Flight search as mentioned above is miserable. Why am I seeing info for KTN number while booking the flight? I get that some people may want to add a frequent flyer program if they haven't already, but KTN now shows *. Does that mean it's taking it from my profile or am I reentering it? Also, why are rental cars appearing as distance instead of location? I would like to confirm I'm renting from the airport location (or not). Some areas have very nearby rental locations that are about the same distance as a rental center. The developers need to work with frequent travelers before making these odd changes that make booking travel more tedious.

I am getting very similar feedback from my travelers.  The * for KTN is very confusing because people are wondering if it's being pulled in from their profile  since it's saved.  Develops should spend some time with road warriors and travel managers when considering changes because I can't imagine either would support many of the changes that have been made.  I'm all for more refreshed and modern look but a lot of useful functionality has been removed or buried making it more difficult to complete a booking.
