Lower fare after ticketing

When a lower fare becomes available for an existing booking, how can the user take advantage of the lower fare? Do they have to call the agency? I would prefer to have the exchange or void process work within Concur due to the additional fee charge from the agency for xl and rebook.

Anybody have any suggestions?

@u219981 you might need to enable Post-ticketing change. If this isn't turned on, all ticketed airfare would need to go through the TMC for changes.

The other option is to advise users to cancel the current ticket and re-book. However, by the time they get around to this, the lower fare might not be available.

We do have post-ticketing changes enabled.  So it sounds like there is no "reprice" feature?

I we cancel and rebook we risk losing the itinerary and maybe the seats. Not a good option.

I'll put this in for a suggestion.

Thanks.

@u219981 yes, I've never heard of a reprice, but canceling and rebooking could work. You could call the airline directly to see if they can rebook with the lower fare and provide a credit. I'm going to ask someone from our Travel team about this.
