Long term overseas business travel for multiple months from a single foreign country

Hi,

For example, I am going to take overseas business trip for 3 month, and it could be extened to another month up to project situation.

In this case, is it possible to make travel request for 3 month, and make expense report monthly based on the single travel request?

If it is not possible, for example, my trip starts in the month of July.

Then do I  make travel request for one month of July in advance and then make expense report after July,

at the same time I make another travel request for the month of August and make expense report after August, repeating this cycle each moth?

@Anby16 technically you can make a travel request for as long as you need. I'm not sure what your company prefers you do, but to keep things simpler, maybe make separate travel requests for each month and one expense report per month. That way you can assign one travel request to one expense report.

I highly recommend speaking with your manager about this. What you can do and what you should do might not be exactly the same in this situation, so asking your manager is the safest thing.

Thank you,
