Limited Hotel Amenities options on mobile

Had end users report today that the mobile apps options for Hotel Amenities only contains 8 options (Accessible Rooms, Breakfast Included, Dry Cleaning, Free Parking, Internet/Wifi, Restaurant, Swimming Pool, Wheelchair Accessible) in comparison to the longer list available on desktop. 

Is this the same for anyone else?

@BrianH same for me. I think due to the size of the mobile screen. If you select a hotel in the app, you should the other amenities once you are drilled in to the hotel.

That doesn't really make any sense. If you click Brand it has the ability to load several dozen options.

Drilling into each hotel to review the amenities would be pretty time consuming and i think this would lead to more leakage, not less.

@BrianH mobile does have much less real estate to display the same as a full computer screen.

I don't think we are talking about the same thing @KevinD, when the the amenities drop down is selected, its should refer to the same subsection of choices referenced on the list viewed in desktop, and not a graphical heavy payload that somehow cant be loaded. I'm saying for 2026 functionality that is a pretty big miss, and only gives end users more fuel to claim that Concur leads them to want to book offline because it cant provide the info needed.

@BrianH okay, I see what you mean now. When you are on the main Hotel results page and use the Hotel Amenities option on the desktop and choose the Filter option on mobile. Got it. I've asked about this internally to see why there is a discrepancy. My guess is they might come back with "due to limited real estate" in mobile, but this is just me guessing. I'll let you know if I hear something back.

The mobile app displays a more limited selection of amenities filters. However, this does not necessarily mean that hotels lack the additional amenities available in desktop searches.

Recommended approach:

1. Open the individual hotel listing in the mobile app and review its property details for additional amenities.
2. Use the desktop version of Concur Travel when more extensive amenities filtering is required.
3. If the missing filters affect your travelers' booking requirements, submit a case to SAP Concur Support to confirm whether this is an intended mobile limitation or functionality requiring enhancement.

Few important points:

1. Mobile vs. Desktop: The mobile app currently displays fewer hotel amenities filters than the desktop experience. However, SAP Concur has not confirmed whether this is an intentional design limitation.
2. Hotel Property Details: Travelers can open individual hotel listings to check whether additional amenities are listed, even when those amenities are unavailable as search filters.
3. Desktop Workaround: If travelers need to filter by amenities not offered in the mobile app, they should use the desktop version of Concur Travel.
4. Support Escalation: If this functionality is business-critical, submit a case to SAP Concur Support with screenshots comparing the mobile and desktop experiences, app version, device operating system, and Travel configuration details.

Recommendation: Ask SAP Concur Support to confirm whether the reduced mobile filter list is expected behavior or a functionality gap. If it is expected behavior, request consideration for a future mobile enhancement.

At present, there is no confirmed administrator setting that would enable the complete desktop amenities filter list within the mobile app.
