Issue with Amtrak Ticket started on Concur but finished with TMC phone support

An arranger has had a really distressing issue. She used Concur to book a business class Amtrak ticket. Then called our TMC to have the seat assignment made. Then when the boss turned up on the train someone else was in his seat he was told he didn't have a ticket at all. Any ideas about this?

@TheDavid did you call the TMC? One thing to know about using Concur Travel. Concur Travel is the selection tool. All bookings are confirmed, issued and ticketed by your TMC. I would think the TMC would be responsible for this person not having a seat. They obviously were able to pull up the reservation to try and add a seat. 

 

Let me know what your TMC says after you call them. This could be something that someone else experiences down the road, so we want to be able to help them. 🙂
