Can Concur Travel be shut down preventing travelers to book on weekends and holidays?

@dzambo So, I'm a "why" type person, which means I'm going to ask... why you would want to prevent people from booking on weekends and holidays. I have a reason for asking, but I'd like to see your response first because it might be something I haven't thought of. 🙂

Hi Kevin,

For our company, all bookings are not necessarily touchless and our travel agents still need to work certain bookings.  On previous booking tools, we would always shut Friday evenings through Sunday mornings.

@dzambo I don't think you can shut down Concur Travel, but you can create a travel rule that if the trip isn't booked between Monday 12am to Friday 11:59pm, it can display a message that tells the users that travel should only be booked Monday through Friday. 

I'm asking a colleague if she knows if it is possible to turn off the ability to book during certain times. I'll let you know what she says.

@dzambo I did get confirmation that you cannot turn off Concur Travel for weekends and holidays.
