I am trying to book hotels in Europe and am noticing that many of the options shown in Concur actually book through a third party site, like Expedia or Booking.com.
We had problems in the past with making changes, getting credits for cancelled trips, etc. when using third party booking apps. Which is why my company does not allow that any more. If I book a hotel for one of my executives through Concur, but it then goes through another third party, are we protected from the usual issues of booking third party? Or will this just add another layer of complexity to everything? In other words, will I have to fight with Expedia if something goes wrong, or will Concur manage that for me?
