Flight Search Showing Limited Departure Times by Default

I’ve noticed a change in how flight search results are being displayed in Concur and wanted to check if this is due to a recent update or a setting on my end.

Previously, flight searches defaulted to “Anytime.” However, as of this week, searches are defaulting to a limited departure window of 1:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Even when I update the departure time to “Anytime” using the dropdown on the search result screen, the results still only display flights up to 5:00 PM.

After some digging, I found a separate (less visible) departure time setting within the calendar window. When I change that setting to “Anytime,” the results update correctly. However, if I then modify airports within that same window, the departure time resets back to 1:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Can you confirm:

• Whether this is the result of a recent update?
• If there is a way to restore “Anytime” as the default search setting?

This workflow has become quite frustrating, as I now need to repeatedly adjust the time filters - not just for the initial search, but for subsequent searches as well. Since I typically compare flights across multiple nearby airports, this adds a significant amount of extra time.

Our users are hating this new feature. This is a huge step back and mistake for making mandatory.

Just want to provide an update about the change made to Concur Travel. I know some of you might not believe what I'm about to say, but the change made where there is a four-hour window and not an option for Anytime was the top voted on feature by customers. 

I'll have to go out on a limb here and say that I'm guessing none of you were in on the voting. Everyone can be part of our Continuous Influence program, where you can see what is coming and make your voice heard. 

I was also told that the feedback on this feature has surprised our Dev team since it was the top voted on feature. They do plan on addressing the things based on the feedback.

It would be great if the default option were “Anytime”, and if each traveler could choose between “Anytime” or a specific time window. In addition, it would be ideal for that preference to be saved in their profile, so they would not need to reconfigure it each time.

It would also be important for the user to be able to modify that range or window whenever they consider it appropriate, thus maintaining flexibility according to their needs at any given time.

@cjmarimo I think what @EllenR said was that Anytime now is equivalent to the default setting being set to 12pm and then applying the plus or minus of 12. This would then cover all 24 hours. 

I believe the user would still have the option to use the sliders to select a more narrow time frame. As for the saving of the desired time window, that would be something you could submit as an enhancement request. @EllenR is this correct?

Yes Kevin, the recognition of the Company's Default Search Windows was one of the top voted requests along with general feedback from customer meetings, Fusion, etc.  However, it is not limited to four hours.   The behavior now recognizes the default settings in the Company Travel Configuration, so these are controlled by the Company admin now, just as they were in the legacy environment and not automatically defaulted by SAP Concur to Anytime.   If Anytime is desired, then the default departure time for the search should be set to 12 and then the setting for the Search Windows should be set to 12. (+/-12).   (Note that some configurations may be limited to 8 at the moment, but this will be updated today and tomorrow to allow 12. ) This parity enhancement with legacy also enables companies with specific LLF requirements to control that more accurately.  We will also be adding the ability for the user to easily expand their time preferences to Anytime without having to move the time sliders.   The following is a screenshot for the settings that I am referring to.

Hello @EllenR,

I am a Concur administrator and I am not able to see option "Company Travel Configuration". I have opened a case through CTE Customer Portal, but so far I have not been able to enable this option.

Could you help me review this or let me know what I might be missing, such as any prerequisites, specific configuration, or limitation that I should be aware of for this option to be visible?
