Concur Error

A traveler reached out to us about an error on their screen. They are attempting to book a flight for a trip, but this error message keeps occurring. I'm unsure if this is just a user issue with their computer, or if I - as the admin - need to adjust their settings. They already have all the appropriate user settings that they need.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

@mouaelizabeth what was the user trying to book? Air, Car or Hotel?

Hello. 

 

They are trying to book airfare. I went into their profile settings to investigate further, I saw that they had not verified their email. I suggested the traveler verify their email and maybe that would help resolve the issue. 

 

Do you have any other insights about this error message?

@KevinD The error message still persists. After speaking with the user, they said this error message occurs when they are in the payment section and try to purchase the flight. Verifying their email did not help resolve the error. 

@mouaelizabeth could you send me the name of the user in a private message, please? I'd like to take a look at their profile. Also, could you ask the user to try again and take a screenshot of the payment section screen for me, please? You can provide that in the private message as well. When you copy and paste an image into a private message, click the image to select it. You'll see it highlight. Once highlighted, click and drag any corner of the image to enlarge it.

With Hotels, it commonly occurs because the employee does not have a credit card assigned to the employee profile. It might be the same with Airfare for some providers because there may be extra add-on charges. Consider checking the employee profile to ensure that there is a corporate card or if not possible, a personal credit card assigned to the employee's profile. 

I have heard that such errors may occur if the Frequent Traveler information is incorrectly configured, perhaps with the transposition of two digits. That is, there are incorrect or outdated frequent flyer numbers (e.g., UAL MileagePlus) can trigger booking failures. Try purging your browser cookies and Temporary Internet Files and then try again. Concur is a data intensive site, and these browser issues could cause issues with booking flights. Finally, open your link directly rather than as a bookmark, since the bookmark may cause such issues.

I just got a notice from our TMC that Concur Travel is down for online booking

I am also having similar issues with booking travel. I cannot book any flights- it says "no flights available". I also get the same error message as OP when trying to view booked travel/upcoming trips.
