This expense cannot be submitted until it is matched to an imported card transaction

I am having issues submitting my expense reports in Concur when I try to include 3 specific expense lines. Two of them are for $0, and one is for $170.56

I keep getting the same error message which says that "The entry has prepopulated payment type with no credit card information. You must select a valid payment type for the entry before you can submit the expense report. This expense cannot be submitted until it is matched to an imported cash transaction. If this was not paid for via card, you may edit the payment type of the expense to reflect the actual payment method. Missing required field: City of Purchase."

All three entries say airfare as their expense type, and I assume they have to do with an unused flight ticket I had available and that was used towards a flight I booked a few weeks ago. However, I don't know how to submit the entries and I don't know if I understand the $170.56 balance in one of them.

Thanks,

Caleb

@ctolentino if you post a screenshot of the three items, I can help. I need to see them though.

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for your willingness to help.

I have called support and they were able to sort this out for me. The "charges" were just travel itineraries and the guidance was that I could delete them.

Thanks,
Caleb

There are a few levers you can pull to help your response rate, although whether it’s feasible for you is going to come down to the kind of research you’re trying to do and how much money/ resources you have.

I’m assuming you’re trying to do this as cost-effectively as possible, so here are a few ideas:

Distribute it to more people

Bigger audience= more responses. It’s a numbers game.Social media has native poll features on some platforms, and in many cases you can get your friends to share posts or help you distribute it, although you may be limited in your audience size and exposure.
