Stay with family

Which expense type should I use if I'm staying with family whilst on a temporary assignment away from home?

@EmileLewis what is it you are needing to expense? Are you paying your family for staying with them? Are you paying for meals, transportation to your work location?

If you could clarify the situation a little bit more for me, that would be great. 🙂

Hi Kevin,

Our expense policy allows for a small amount to be reimbursed in the event that an employee opts to stay with family/friends. This does not seem to be catered for in the Concur expense types.

@EmileLewis in that case I would still use Hotel/Accommodation or whatever your company has named the expense type for lodging.
