Refund for a Personal Expense

Has anyone had an employee paid out for personal expense and then receive a credit for this expense?  Employee wants to repay company for this and payroll has asked if we can issue a negative out of pocket report to issue the debit to the employee's payroll.  I have not seen a negative out of pocket expense in Concur before.  Will this work?

@KMcSorley I just tested this in a training site and I was able to submit. Now, since different companies use different accounting software, it will depend on whether your accounting software can accept a negative amount.
