Preselection of a Costcenter

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to preselect a forced costcenter XY (not my personal one from the profile) when the business purpose f.e. is "uniform and safety"?

Is it alternatively possible to preselect a costcenter for a special "expense type"  instead of the one from the personal profile?

Thank you and regards

Hi @UserIT7 , I hope you are doing well!  Is the Cost Object shown what you would want it to be if the Uniform and Safety?  If so, you could create an audit rule that if it's not set to that it would either show a yellow or red exception.  I  know this might not be ideal, but it's one way to make sure that users are entering the correct selection.

Hi @UserIT7 ,

Report header form seems to be configured to copy the value from the profile. You cannot change it at a user level.

Possibly you have other expense reports created in the past and can copy them to copy over the data as well. Hope this helps.

@UserIT7 I would go with @MelanieT 's suggestion and create an audit rule that says, Report Business Purpose Equals XXX and Report Cost Center Not Equal to YYY.

What is your comfort level building Audit Rules?
