Concur Email Reminders

wlloh_0-1624889960165.png

For the frequency of the Concur email reminders, if I set it to "Once when condition is met", I am just trying to understand the meaning of the below in the guide. Does that mean that if an expense is not approved, a reminder email will only be send after 60 days only? And if it is still not approved, the reminder email will be send after another 60 days?

NOTE: To ensure that reminders are sent according to
the selected frequency, Concur sets a "flag" whenever
a reminder is sent. However, for performance reasons,
the flags are removed every 60 days. This means that
a "once only" reminder could be sent once every 60
days. To prevent recurrence of the reminder, Concur
recommends that you add a time- or status-based
condition to the reminder rule (for example, add an
additional condition on a date field like Create Date
and Within Today minus 59 – or use a Report Status
equal to the final workflow step).

@wlloh what type of reminder are you wanting to create and what frequency do you want?

If you are referring to an approval email reminder, I believe there is already an email reminder setup in the system and it is set to send a reminder to approvers after 3 days if they have not yet approved a report. I would not recommend a 60 day overdue approval reminder.

But according to the Note, it does sound like it would be every 60 days, unless you put in a condition to prevent this.

Thank you,
