Building a Relationship Between Two Custom Fields

Hello!

Is it possible to create a relationship between two of our custom fields: Company &  Project? Such that whenever a value is selected in Company, the user can only select a list of values in Project that begin with a specific letter?

For example, if a user selects the Company, "XYZ", they can then only select values in Project which begin with either a B or P? At present, our users from different entities log into Concur and have the ability to select Projects which do not belong to their entity.

We looked at creating an audit rule but was not successful. The logic needs a "Begins With" operator which isn't available in our Concur environment. We also have thousands of projects and add more on a regular basis.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!

@CZemba with the correct permissions, this is actually fairly easy to do. What you describe is what we call a Connected List. Where what you choose from one field, determines what can be selected in the second field. This does require access to Forms and Fields in Expense Admin, which you would only have if you have completed our Advanced Configuration class. If you or no one at your company has taken this class, you would need to submit a ticket to SAP Concur Support.

Thank you,
