Attendee Import employee list

Hello

I'm trying to import an attendee list for an event and am running into errors.  I downloaded the template and populated it accordingly with my attendees.  It's saved in the .xls and .xlsx format.  When I attempt to import I get the following message" Error uploading or processing excel file.

Unable to read the Attendee data. Please verify that the template you are using matches your current language setting".

Any help here is appreciated as my Excel language is English so not sure what the issue is.

@BigBlueBoy are the attendees people outside your organization, inside your organization or both? 

Are you using the correct attendee type code? 

If you could post a screenshot of the Attendee Type Code (I believe it is the first column) I can tell you if it is correct or not.

Attendee type is "Employee" for all 52 entries.
