Workflow Approval Report

Hi team,

Is there a report that shows when the Approval for an expense claim has expired and has been sent on to the next level of approval?

You can try applying below filter in processor screen and see if you are getting any results:

Filter:

Approval Status = Approval Time Expired

 

Note: I’m not sure this filter will return any results, because the report status changes based on the approval time expiry action configured in the workflow.

For example, if the expiry action is set to “send to approver’s approver,” the report status changes to “submitted and pending approval.” In that scenario, even though the approval time has expired, applying the above filter will not return any results because the status has already been updated.

In my view, this filter would only work when the approval time expiry action is set to “None.

The same behavior applies to the other options available under the approval time expiry actions in the workflow.

Considering this, I believe it is technically not possible to fetch exact reports that have expired and automatically moved to the next approval step.

 

However, you could review a few sample expired reports and check whether there is any common identifier that could be used to filter those reports.
