Want to add a field and filter on standard reports

Hi Team,

 

I want to add Ledger name field and apply filter on that field on standard reports 'Workflow Cycle Times-Details' and 'Top employees with Unassigned or Unsubmitted CC transactions' . As these standard ones not able to figure out where to add this field and filter. My main target is to filter out employees based on some specific filters when running these reports. Can anyone help?

@Saikat1 usually the standard reports need to be edited at the Query level. What I mean by this is users will open a Standard report and try to simply add an item to the page they are looking at, but you will need to open the Query Editor to make these changes.

@Saikat1 First thing, I highly recommend you make a copy of the report before you make the changes. That way you can start fresh if something doesn't work correctly. For the Workflow Cycle times, I think you would add the data item to the Query named Report Details, then once added there you would need to make sure it is showing in the query named Main. You would do this by Double-clicking the Main query. On the left you would see the two queries that are Joined. Pull the data item from the Report Details query and drag and drop it into the list of Main query data items. 

 

Once there, click Report that is above the report details.

Select Main. From the left hand side pull the data item from the list of data items under the Main query into the Report page. You can drag and drop it where you want it to display in the report.

Hi @KevinD  Thanks for the vedio. Is it possible to guide exactly where I need to add the respective field for this specific reports? Actually, this bit complex so thought if anyone have any idea that exactly where we can add
