User wants reporting containing any comments added per expense line

Hello all, first post!  Apologies if this is a duplicate question - I did try searching first!  Thanks in advance.

 

I have a user who wants reporting containing any comments added per expense line.  We have the standard reporting package.  Is that functionality available to us?  If so, how would I begin to find it?

Dear @heatheralper ,

 

You can add Comment field using Standard Reporting. If the user is referring to comments entered on the expense line, these can be obtained from the Report Entry Comments field. You can search for the field by typing Comment in the search option within the reporting tool.

 

If you are unsure how to customize the report, you may raise a support case with Concur.

Hello @Meena_K 

 

We have a similar kind of request where user has requested entry level comments along with entry level details of the expenses  for one month. I created a report with report entry comments field added with expense entry details but its not giving me the output. It seems we may need to add queries in report. But when we add the report entry comments alone i am getting the comments but thats not expected.

Hello Meena,

We would like to create a cognos report which include the details like expense type, transaction date, comments provided by user at expense entry level. Also need to include report header details like report id, last submitted date.

I have created a sample report including the requested field. Kindly review the screenshot for reference. All relevant fields can be found under Expense Reports

 

Please navigate to Expense Reports and select Report Header Information for all report-level details. For expense entry-level details, you may select Entry Information

Whether you are getting the desired output. I tried it but i am getting just for one country users and for not for the other country users.

No  @Meena  . I just checked the reporting permissions where my role was assigned to one specific group ONLY due to which when the report extracted , i was only able to see the details for that specific country only. I just assigned the global role. May be tomorrow i can get the correct output as it will take one day for Cognos to reflect the changes😊
