Travel Allowance. How to do if I have two different travel the same day?

I came back from an travel at 9am one morning. Leaving later, 5pm that day for another travel. The system will not let my create any new allowance for the 2. trip, making my itinerary wrong.

How do I solve this so the itinerary will show the right data?

@ahag could you provide screenshots of the itinerary you tried to create, please? I thought as long as the times don't overlap, you would be good. 

I'd like to see what you are entering to get a better idea of how to assist you.

Unfortunately I cant. I needed to submit it today, so I had to build everything in to one travel. But I had a travel ending coming back, ending 7.am. Then leaving for the next travel 3pm. The error message was that you can only make one claim a day, so please change the dates to an date with no allowance claimed.
