Submitting expense reports is blocked due to migration

Hi all,

I can't submit an expense report in Concur. Error message is shown: "Please note that submission of new expense reports is blocked due to the ongoing Workday migration."

There is no timeline communicated for this migration; there was actually no communication at all related to this migration.

My expenses were made on 8 Sept 2026, so the due date for submission within 1 month is approaching.

Anyone who can inform me on this migration and the timelines? And what I should do with my expenses of 8 Sept?

Thank you!

@EllenMarivoet unfortunately, migrations are done by your company, not SAP Concur so we won't be able to advise you on this issue. My suggestion is to speak with your direct manager. Usually, companies enable a pop-up upon sign in to SAP Concur to inform users of upcoming down times. Not sure if your company did that or not, but that is usually how the communicate this type of thing to all users.

Thank you,

Hi   @EllenMarivoet

Topic: Submitting expense reports is blocked due to migration

Please check the below. Hope it helps.

-----

This message indicates that your organization has temporarily disabled expense report submissions during its Workday migration. This is likely a company-specific restriction rather than a general SAP Concur outage.

Recommended actions:

  1. Contact your Finance, HR, or SAP Concur Expense Administrator to confirm the migration timeline and expected submission reopening date.

  2. Request written confirmation that the 30-day submission deadline will be extended during the migration.

  3. Save your expense reports as drafts and retain all receipts.

  4. Ask whether an alternative reimbursement process is available for urgent expenses.

  5. Keep a screenshot of the error as evidence that submission was blocked.

Important: For expenses dated September 8, 2026, the normal 30-day deadline would have been approximately October 8, 2026. Request an exception or retroactive deadline extension immediately.

Bottom line: Only your organization's migration team can confirm the timeline. Employees should not be penalized for submission delays caused by a company-imposed system restriction.

Thanks & Regards
