Settings configured in Tax Administration

Do the settings configured in Tax Administration apply to specific Expense Types based on conditions such as payment type and receipt status, so that when the country and conditions match, the VAT Amount field is automatically populated for the applicable expense type?

Also, where can we view or verify the Tax Codes once they are configured?

Hi @Jaewon

Here the direct link with all the info:

https://help.sap.com/docs/CONCUR_EXPENSE/bb83754b1c5541808d50c09901e11475/d6eda7bafca14500bdbb06ed77...

A short summary from my side could be:

1- The answer to your first question is Yes.

2- There are different options within the processor view where you can see the VAT related fields:

A- The name Vary depending on TAX NAME Within Tax Administration (Tab Tax Authority) in the example below the tax name is VAT, therefore you see VAT and then TAX

grodriguezproje_0-1751967123185.png

    B- Following the path.

B.1 Click in VIEW small text at the right corner in the top of the expenses and then click on Custom, you will see a new option called List Settings aftwerwards.

B.2 Click on List Settings a new window will pop up and then you can select the VAT related fields Reclaim Code, Tax Code and in some configurations custom 19. Please take not that you don't need to have the TAX Code in all the columns in the screenshot i attached the custom 19 is always populated and the Reclaim code is only populated when the expense is domestic

Also just in case you have everything the path to see the processor view is:

1- Under APPLICATION click on Expense (You can see in my screenshot that the root or the starting point says Expense but is just only because i'm already there, you can have HOME or REQUEST depending in which page you are at certain point)

2-Click on Expense

3-Process Reports.

In order to have access to this area you should have the Expense Processor role assigned at Global level or to the country you need.
