Receipt images display limitations

Expense Approval receipt view only displays the first page of a receipt on iPad (used Edge and Safari browser). This is not a situation of submitter appending images in the receipt to add images/files.  This is one individual file of the entirety of a receipt that is multiple pages.  Typically, this affects airline flight receipts uploaded by submitters.  Only the first page displays in the receipt view; in new receipt window; for printing results.  From an old post I did trip across from 2022, it appears Concur has no feedback nor care to address the issue?  This is exceptionally frustrating to approve timely any reports submitted when not tethered to a desktop/laptop and using more travel-friendly devices when working away from the office.

@loritrustone so I'm clear, the approver was signed in to the web version of SAP Concur on an iPad and not using the mobile app on iPad, is that correct? I'm asking because if you are using a browser, you should see the receipts the same as if you were using a browser on a desktop/laptop.

Do you have a screenshot you can share of the approver attempting to view the receipts on their iPad?

Thank you,

Yes. BROWSER (both in Edge and Safari on iPad) as aforementioned in my original post.  Unfortunately, I cannot grab screenshots on the managed device nor do I currently have an expense approval pending (much less with multiple page receipt) to snap a picture of at this time.  Unsure what you think screenshot would accomplish as there is no error pop-up nor message.  It is merely only one page of a receipt just like you would see it if you looked at one on YOUR screen.  I did end up logging into Concur via BROWSER on my Android phone (Chrome) and was able to see all the pages of the receipt there.  This has always been an issue on iPad over two different models of iPad that had current iOS and browsers--and, unfortunately, thinking it couldn't be an issue with Concur, led me to reach out to submitters asking them to reload receipt with all pages before I realized it was a Concur display issue!  Quite embarrassing in my position as I support our leadership.

@loritrustone So, my curiosity got the better of me and I decided to give this a try myself. Granted, I don't have an iPad, but I figured using an iPhone would be okay to do. I experienced the same thing you did using both Safari and Chrome.

I did some searching around and found the answer. Keep in mind, I'm just the messenger. I don't work on any development teams and am not part of any product teams. Our knowledge base says there is a limitation of viewing only the first page of a multi-page receipt when using the web version of SAP Concur on a mobile device (iPad or iPhone).  The reason for this is because the web version of SAP Concur is not supported for use on mobile devices. This is due to the various browsers and due to the screen sizes on mobile devices.

The workaround to view multiple receipts in a mobile browser is the below (works on Chrome browser only):

1. Inside the report, tap Receipts or Manage Receipts > View Receipts in New Window
2. In this new window, touch and hold the receipt image until you receive some options
3. Tap the option Open Image in New Tab
4. A new tab will open and will show you all the receipt images in all the expenses that are within the report (including the multipage receipts that were not displaying previously)
