Questions about using API to upload images to Concur and ExpenseIt OCR trigger conditions

Hi, I have the following questions:

1. About upload images to Concur via APIs (e.g., Receipts V4 or Receipt Image v3). I have heard that using these APIs does not trigger the ExpenseIt OCR functionality. Could you please confirm if this is accurate? 

2. My question is whether it is possible to use the API to upload the receipt image and automatically trigger the ExpenseIt OCR functionality

3.  Additionally, I would like to clarify the following points, Does ExpenseIt OCR functionality only get triggered through below 

•  Web interface
• The SAP Concur mobile app (iOS/Android)?
• Sending receipts to Concur via email

@kenneth_z I can only speak to your third question, which the answer is yes, those are the ways to trigger ExpenseIt. I'm not sure about APIs so I asked a colleague to see if he can provide some insight.
