Mileage - distance entries

When an employee had a travel of less than one mile and Concur calculated from the addresses, it would not allow the entry and said the distance was invalid.  Are distances less than one mile not allowed within Concur expense?

@Bookkeeper the distance field works in whole number only. You cannot enter .5 or 1.25. One is the smallest amount that can be entered into the field.

@KevinD  I tried entering the distance manually as 10,010 and Concur displays a field validation error stating Maximum Distance Allowed: 10000. Can't a user enter more than 10000?

@svaidya unless a user actually drove 10,000 miles in one trip, they really shouldn't be entering a mileage amount that high. I'm not sure if the 10,000 is a system limitation or if your company configured mileage to not exceed 10,000 in one submission.

In trying to think of a reason someone would enter 10,000 as the distance, would it be because they are trying to enter their mileage for the whole year or for several months at a time?

The distance field will not accent decimals and when you try to save a rounded up/down amount, the expense report will not allow you submit without and exact match on the distance field and google calculator.
