I’ve used Concur for years, and never ever had a smooth experience. However, for the past few months this is really getting out of hand.
First issue - when I click w photo, share icon on the iPhone, pick Concur App and then upload I get an error saying I need to be logged in before using this feature.
I am logged in already. And this used to work, but not anymore.
Ok - so we move onto another way to get that same receipt into the app. I now chose to email it to the app.
Once it arrives in the app - it will not be autopopulatee anymore with Vendor, amount, date etc - it just shows up as ”Receipt” and $0. So I have to enter everything manually.
This also didn’t use to happen but does now.
So now - I move to a third way. I open the app, click add photo, pick the photo of the receipt. It shows ”Processing” and then shows ”receipt” and $0
is anyone having the same issue, or - even better - a solution. This basically makes the app about as useful as collecting my receipts in a shoebox and entering them into a spreadsheet.

@KL312 first off I'd like to let you know that I am not part of the mobile app team. I do know I've seen others having issues with the app and receipts. I think the issue is in regards to those using ExpenseIt.
Maybe try turning off ExpenseIt and then uploading the receipt image. This way it won't try to be analyzed by ExpenseIt, but will just be added as an image that you an attach to an expense entry that is on your report. I just tried this and it worked.
To turn off ExpenseIt in the app, sign in and then click your initials in the upper right. Select Settings from the next screen. ExpenseIt should be the first option on the Setting screen. Slide the toggle to off.
Let me know how it works for you or if you have any issue.

Thank you for your response. When I turn that option to “off” it still shows up as “Expense” and “$0” when I email it in. And it still shows the error when I try to use the share button on iPhone.
I am seriously at loss of how to get receipts into the app without manually entering every piece of info necessary.

@KL312 you shouldn't need to email it in. If you have the image of the receipt saved on your phone, just upload from your photo library into the app. Emailing isn't necessary. Since the ExpenseIt option is not working correctly to pre-populate the details, you will need to manually input some data.
Have you done all the updating of the app to make sure you are using the latest version? Also, have you updated the phone to the latest version of iOS?

Kevin - again thanks for the communication.
I want to email the receipts to the app. A lot of expenses (hotels, rental cars, flights, erc) email me an electronic receipt. Hence - I prefer to just forward that email to concur. Not to save it as image on the phone. Then open the concur app and add it that way. That would add steps - not shorten the process.
Again, I appreciate you helping here - but to simply say ”you have to manually enter the info yourself since the expenseit doesn’t work” seems like a poor solution. If I have to enter all info myself, what is the benefit for our company to use the app at all?
Are you suggesting I should just accept that both share to app, and email to app, are no longer functions that work - and from now on we have to manually enter all info from receipts?
I appreciate your help and responses but this doesn’t feel okay.

And yes. My phone and app are the most recent versions of software/app.
