HELP Error Message when changing the amount manually

Hi, 

I keep getting the message - Error: Action: You have exceeded the % threshold for manual changes to the Exchange Rate. Please correct and re-save the expense.- when i go to submit.

I have changed the amount, but not sure how to remedy to process, please advise.

Hi @rgill ,

You are receiving this error because you may have entered an exchange rate that is higher than the company’s allowed rate or the XE.com reference rate.

To resolve the issue, try the following:

• Delete the existing expense entry.
• Create a new expense entry and do NOT modify the exchange rate field. Use the default exchange rate provided by the system.
• If there is any currency exchange gain or loss, you can claim it under the “Currency Exchange Gain/Loss” expense type.

If this expense type is not available, please check with your manager for guidance on how to claim the remaining amount.
