Fuel mileage claim issue

Hello ,

my SAP concur expense claim since 1/4/25 has said I've travelled 9684 miles which receipts and actual claims on equates to 1684 so this means I have now been getting the 23p instead of 45p so i will have back pay , I have been in contact with HR regarding this who have a specialist team and asked to escalate this.

If was to look at claims since 1/4/25 it would also confirm the miles i have done but at a loss to know what else to do ?

@DarinWoodhouse hello there. I see you have three cars registered on your SAP Concur profile. When you registered your cars, there was an option that said, "Accumulated distance to date". What did you enter into this field? 

I think what happened is you entered the mileage on your car's odometer. So, if you entered let's say 5000 when registering your car, the system thinks that you have already driven 5000 miles for business. Then as you submit mileage expenses, the accumulated mileage goes up starting at 5000. If I have an expense report with 1000 total miles, now the system thinks that I have driven 6000 miles. 

When registering a car, you should enter zero in the Accumulated distance to date field if you had not previously entered any car mileage expenses. 

You will need to have your site administrator submit a Help ticket to Concur Support to have them fix the issue as you won't be able to edit the initial distance you entered when you registered your cars. If you do not know who your site admin is, I recommend speaking with your direct manager.
