File Size Limit for List Import Files

Hi,

Is there a file size limit for List import Files in Concur? We have heard from a client that they are importing Sales Orders in their Concur Instance where the file size is almost 9GB.

Is Concur capable of handling such a big volume of data? Will there be file size restrictions if they use SAP ICS instead?

@brandtp09 as far i know, if you upload manually it is 10MB and 2000000 records are the limit. If you have SFTP enabled, then it is 1GB per file. Via ICS it runs full load at first time import then delta records. 

I would suggest to split the file based on Entities during the first and bulk upload then the delta load take care of only New or modified records.

Hi @KevinD, I did not submit an inquiry in the Partner Support Portal. This question was for a different client and I was just curious if there is such a limit since the current team handling this client mentioned this 9GB File they are importing.

I was curious about this myself, as a 9GB text file is massive. Using one of my sample files as a basis, some quick arithmetic says that's about 76 million rows, which does not seem realistic, and is definitely not supported (see below). I’m wondering if they meant 9MB.

I checked with our integration team to get the official guidelines:

• The FTP has a limit of 1GB of uncompressed (pre-encryption) data.
• The import tool has a limit of 50 MB of compressed/zipped data.
