Expense report returned - receipt questioned

A submitted report was sent back to me asking for a receipt for an expense showing correct date & amount. The receipt has this info. I'm confused.

Is the date complete? Example: June 17, 2026? If the year is missing the auditors will reject.
Another possible reason is the date format on the receipt may difference than the auditors default for your country. I have travelers in Europe with receipts showing Day/Month/Year which is reverse from NA which is Month/Day/Year.
