This is a SAP Concur Expense – City of Purchase lookup/missing issue, where the correct U.S. city is missing from the available selection list.
From your screenshot, the user searches for Salamanca, but Concur displays only:
- Salamanca, Spain
- Salamanca, Mexico
- Salamanca, Chile
The required location is: Salamanca, New York 14779, USA, for the hotel Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino.
The message "This field is missing required information" appears because the user has not selected a valid location from the lookup. It does not necessarily mean the hotel expense itself is invalid.
Resolution – Step by Step:
- Log in to SAP Concur with Expense Administrator access.
- Navigate to Administration → Expense → Locations.
- Search for Salamanca, New York, USA.
- If missing, add the city using the supported location configuration.
- If it already exists, verify that it is active and available.
- Save the changes.
- Reopen the hotel expense and search for Salamanca, NY.
- Select the city and save the expense.
Expected Result: Salamanca, New York, becomes available in the City of Purchase dropdown.
Note: If location maintenance is restricted, raise an SAP Concur Support ticket to have the city added or activated.
